Online camera price blunders (Ian Burley)

Just the oposite Ian, I reserved my D200 body with Purdy's at £1299 and have been invoiced £1199! They even supplied a somewhat tacky soft Nikon gaget bag which is going e-bay.

When I was first after a Canon printer I found one supposedly in stock at, can't remember the exact cost, lets say £350, but the confirmation was £450 and it was out of stock with 4/5 week delivery. This was the excuse for the price hike. This was Pixmania. They had debited my credit card, I canncelled the order and was told it would take 30 days to credit my card. As the debit had been immediate this upset me somewhat, after several e-mails and phone calls I did get an immediate credit but only after involving Barclaycard. One company I'd say never ever deal with, stories like this can be found all over the web about this French operation.
