Hi Tony,
an interesting idea - just let me propose an alternative for the f value. (wink)

Just make the f-value of the zoom 24-200mm from 2.8 to, say, 5.6 or 6.3 to achieve the success in the market. otherwise the D3 must weigh around 2kg or more, i imagine. (oh)
With f2.8, it must look like a shooting bazooka rather than a compact digicam and police would surely stop your shooting. (wink)
