Dane-Elec Launches New Compactflash Xs Cards Together With A New Customer Service
Memory leader's new card range to be supported by 'World Service' for its users
Dane-Elec, Europe's leading manufacturer and distributor of memory modules for home and professional computing, digital photography and telecommunications, today announces the UK launch of the CompactFlash(tm) Xs memory card range, with users having exclusive access to Dane-Elec's 'World Service' warranty.
The Xs range of cards features 128, 256, 512MB and 1 GB capacity cards, and as first generation type 1 cards (3.3mm thick) they have all been designed with the needs of professional photographers in mind. Every card is equipped with NAND technology, and is fast enough to allow professional and amateur photographers to take instant shots, because the cards can write data at 22X. In the same way, the Xs cards will enable written data to be read at a transfer rate of 44X. Other speeds will become available as Flash technology evolves.
Dane-Elec's 'World Service' warranty is offered to users of the Xs cards, in addition to the 10-year guarantee. Using this new service, users can replace their Xs memory card within 24 hours at no extra cost, and from anywhere in the world. "The CompactFlash(tm) Xs card will provide both professional and amateur users with a high speed data reading rate," comments Terry Clarke, Digital Product Manager, Dane-Elec (UK) Ltd. "The World Service warranty gives user security, which is especially important for professional users of the cards."
To enjoy these benefits, users must to fill in the registration form available at www.dane-elec.com in order to get their Xs World Service membership card. Then, if they need to replace their Xs memory card, they fill in the exchange form on the same site, giving the number of the bar code on the back of their Xs memory card, their surname, forename, address, telephone number and the address to which they would like their new card to be delivered, together with their credit card number and its expiry date. For exchanges, users will merely be asked to send back the faulty product to Dane-Elec within 30 days.
