e-fotografija is a site based in Slovenia, run by Matjaz Intihar. With many years experience in commercial photography and printing, Matjaz is in the process of developing his online magazine.
Kai Thon’s reviews are some of the most in-depth you will find on the Web. He writes in Norwegian, but speaks excellent English and some articles do have English sections. Even if you can’t read the Norwegian, the pictures and diagrams in his reviews are well worth a look.
Digital Magasinet is a new Danish digital photography site. Produced by Jens Sandalgaard, Digital Magasinet features news, reviews and technical hints and tips for Danish readers.
Pocket Lint is the unusually named site run in the UK by Stuart Miles. Here you can find news and reviews about all sorts of digital products and gadgets, including digital cameras and accessories.
Photography BLOG - Mark Goldstein, who hails not far from dpnow.com’s UK home base in Hertfordshire, scours the Internet for interesting articles on both digital and traditional photography, creating a WeB LOG, which explains the unusual site name. Recently he has started publishing his own product reviews.
Photologic - is a commercial photographic services company in Ireland. However, their Web site has a very comprehensive links page and some useful information about professional digital imaging solutions.
Digiscoped U.K. Birds - Like Laurence below, Andy Bright’s site is dedicated to digiscoping birds. Andy’s pictures are a real eye-opener as to what can be achieved using a Nikon Coolpix 900-series camera!
Laurence’s Digital Birds - Laurence Poh, who lives in Malaysia, was the pioneer of ‘digiscoping’ or taking digital pictures via high-powered monocular ‘spotting’ scopes. Some of his pictures are well-nigh astonishing.
photo-i, Vincent Oliver’s site has already attracted a lot of attention with some in-depth printer news and views. Vincent is an accomplished photographer and freelance writer on digital photography topics.

digitalphotography.tv is a very polished and enthusiastic site launched about the same time as DPN in the summer of 2001 by Charlie Morey. Based in California, Charlie’s site is very atmospheric - well worth a visit.DCViews - another slick-looking digital camera news and links site. This one is based in the Netherlands, but most of its content is in English. The site was launched in the same month as DPN - August 2001.Amateur Digital Photo Gallery - An excellent example of an amateur photographer, in this case John Greenwood, putting his hobby to good use and effect on the Web.Photolink.de - an international photography links site based in Germany. Digital Secrets - You may have heard of Peter iNova’s Digital Secrets Web site already - especially if you are a Nikon user - much of his site is dedicated to Nikon digicams. Peter is also the author of the Nikon eBook, which recently reached version 3.0.
Cobbett & Keen - A delicatessen? On a digital photography site? Well, they’re downstairs from the DPN office here in the Hemel Hempstead Old Town and Andy, their Web master (also one of the chefs), is a keen digital photographer. C&K now have online ordering for all manner of fascinating and delicious food, including hampers.
