HP iPAQs Put Digital Entertainment at the Fingertips of Consumers
The HP iPAQ rx3715 Mobile Media Companion is the first Pocket PC that allows consumers to access digital content anywhere in their home and capture, edit, share, and print photos directly from their HP iPAQ. Featuring the new iPAQ Mobile Media software, the HP iPAQ rx3715 offers quick access to digital imaging and entertainment applications through a new start-up interface.
The iPAQ Mobile Media software transforms the iPAQ rx3715 into the ultimate digital entertainment control device, eliminating the need to stand in front of a TV or PC to browse and access media content. Using the device’s integrated wireless1 capabilities, consumers can stream content from their PC to play on the HP iPAQ or to their TV or stereo to share and enjoy in any room of their house.2 Users can also wirelessly download music libraries, movie collections and vacation photos from their PC to the HP iPAQ rx3715.

The iPAQ rx3715 Mobile Media Companion series also includes Nevo Home Control software, allowing control of all home and office audio/video equipment with a single device. With the ability to control hundreds of consumer electronic devices, the rx3715 is the only universal remote control consumers will ever need.
An integrated HP Photosmart 1.2 MP camera helps users quickly capture spontaneous and treasured moments in photographs and video. A self-portrait mirror beside the camera also lets users include themselves in group shots. HP Image Zone software on the iPAQ rx3715 makes it easy to edit photos then email or print those photos wirelessly, directly from the iPAQ. At home, photos and videos can be automatically downloaded to the user’s PC using HP Image Transfer with ActiveSync. The HP iPAQ rx3715 also ships with HP Image Zone for the PC, which enables more advanced organization, editing, sharing, and printing of photos. With HP Instant Share, users can send snapshots, without large file attachments, to email addresses, online albums, and more.
Featuring the Windows Media Player 9, the HP iPAQ rx3715 allows users to watch and hear their favorite video and music on the go. Users can also challenge other Windows Mobile users in the latest wireless head-to-head games. The ability to view content in landscape, in addition to portrait mode, ensures a wider screen for playing favorite videos and games.
Powered by the Professional Edition of Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ 2003 Second Edition software for Pocket PC, the iPAQ rx3715 also allows users to easily manage personal information, from their calendar and appointments to their contacts and inbox, while on the go. Additionally, users can easily transfer files to, or access files from, Secure Digital and Multimedia cards via the integrated SD slot.
