Geoff starts a new week of Picture of the Day here on Digital Photography Now with a shot from last year that was entered in the current forum salon that has the theme of 'yellow'. Although water splash droplet photos are basically somewhat done to death and clichéd, Geoff has cleverly added some originality in the form of a Nikon branded carrier bag. You can see the characteristic yellow and white stripes of the Nikon logo quite clearly in the reflection of the water drop splash ripples. This is an excellent execution of an old favourite that has much-needed added interest and especially for Nikon fans!

We are always on the look out for great pictures posted to the user-galleries here on DPNow. POTDs are selected from the gallery and featured every week day. The gallery facility here is completely free; all you need to do is register as a user on our discussion forum and you will automatically receive storage space good for around 125 pictures uploaded at web resolution.
