Yoshi is our man in Japan. He often brings news of developments from the big camera manufacturers in his home country and also insight into what Japanese photographers are thinking about. Today we're featuring a photo taken in the aftermath of some very high levels of rainfall that Japan has recently withstood, resulting in dozens of fatalities due to flash flooding. No, it's not a scene of devastation and mayhem, it's a tranquil scene in the countryside of a clear and clean river and an angler enjoying his spot on the rocky bank. It's an idyllic image a million miles away from the weather nightmare that many had recently had to cope with.
