During April two DPNow readers will each win a copy of the latest version of Serif’s MoviePlus X6 video editing software package.
Serif, which is celebrating its 25th year, recently launched MoviePlus X6 and has made a number of improvements and feature additions since version X5.

Top of the list is a new QuickMovie feature. Create movies quickly and easily in the QuickMovie Studio. Simply choose a professionally-designed theme, which includes title sequences, music, transitions, effects and more, then import the video, audio, and images you want to include. You don’t need to know how to edit videos to use QuickMovie, just select what you want from a list. There are 20 themes that are perfect for weddings, Christmas, birthdays and loads more. All of the elements are customisable so, if you are feeling creative, you can make adjustments to the effects, transitions, and text to make something truly personalised and unique.
Video conversion and 3D flip
New to X6 is a video conversion tool that can aslo work in batch mode, converting as many clips as you like while you do something else. X6 also has a 3D function, although this is not a 3D TV feature, instead you can make your video move around un 3D on the screen for special effect.
Facebook, colour and light adjustment, improved text tool
You can now produce and upload video to Facebook easily and conveniently. Improve the look of your videos by adjusting the colour and tone of clips. The text tool is improved making it easier to create captions and titles.
And of course HD video is fully supported so you can create and burn BluRay movies.
