Olympus launches a new look for its flagship compact
The game-changing Olympus XZ-1 now comes in silver, with a new special lens cap in an accessories upgrade
Olympus’ red dot design and TIPA award-winning XZ-1 compact camera now comes in a wider range of options, thanks to a new version in silver and a
new special lens cap accessory. The discreet lens cap opens and closes automatically as the camera powers on and off.
In addition to the familiar versions with a matt black or white lacquered body, the XZ-1 is now available in silver. Of course, the new silver version comes
with all the characteristics that make this compact camera such a winner: the trinity of the ultra-bright 1:1.8-2.5 Olympus lens, the large 1/1.63”
high-sensitivity sensor and the powerful processor delivers exceptional picture quality and stunning low-light performance. The results can be viewed on a
large 3-inch OLED screen. A pro-style front lens control ring gives creativity free eign, ensuring easy access to all major parameters. A host of other creative
options include Multi Exposure and six Art Filters that even work in HD Movie mode.
The silver XZ-1 is available for £399.99 from mid-December 2011.
The black LC-63A lens cap features a sleek design, with a front cover that opens and closes automatically. It costs £24.99 and will be available in January 2012.
