We re-started our DPNow Picture of the Day on 20th October, 2008, with Mias's remarkable photo, called Moon in Cloud.
This month's voting was very close but Antony's Atmospheric shafts of sunlight won through with the most votes, so the POTM from October 2008's POTDs is for Sun Lit Room, by Wizuk:
