Inmotionfotos is the nick name of Mark, here on DPNow. It's easy to classify Mark's photography - he frequently photographs people. Mark's portraiture has been featured on Picture of the Day previously and it's no surprise that he's back here again. Here we have a very dynamic composition. Mark explains how it came about: "This is retired American football quarter back Jeff Blake. He asked that I take a few photos of him to use in press releases and business cards. This is the one he selected for the business card. He was actually standing in front of a tan wall that I changed to white in post processing adding the change to black and white. The original shot included both arms out stretched. I liked the cropping of just the one arm with the football and the championship ring. It just said something to me. Actually, I think my wife suggested it, but I liked it. It was different."
Mark, who is a Canon EOS-5D user, adds: "I still work full time in the high tech world but started to sell my photography services about 4 years ago as a release from the work pressure. It has been great. I am much happier and my wife may even stay married to me now. My photography focus is weddings and portraits but I love land and city scapes. I need to post a few from my recent trips. Thanks for the interest in my photos."

We are always on the look out for great pictures posted to the user-galleries here on DPNow. POTDs are selected from the gallery and featured every week day. The gallery facility here is completely free; all you need to do is register as a user on our discussion forum and you will get an automatic 25MB of space, which is good for around 125 pictures uploaded at web resolution, about 200K per picture. At the time of writing we had nearly 10,000 pictures on the galleries and it's well worth a browse.
