Image samples from the Sony Alpha 900

Please note that the images linked to from the thumbnails below are from late pre-production sample cameras. Therefore, there is a chance some improvements to image quality may be exhibited in production cameras that ship at the end of this month.

Normally we would also provide camera RAW samples, but at the time of writing there is no way of decoding Alpha 900 RAW files. You may notice that some of the sample JPEG images we have provided are substantially larger than the others. These will have been recorded in Extra Fine (ultra low compression) mode. The others have been recorded in standard Fine mode, whch is the highest quality mode available when recording RAW simultaneously.
