Colour Confidence and John Clements take digital photography on the road

Birmingham, UK, 7th April 2008 – Colour Confidence, the independent colour management specialist, has today announced it will host a series of one-day digital photography seminars across the UK, in association with renowned photographer and industry expert John Clements. ‘Digital Photography in a Day’ will offer photographers working in a range of disciplines the chance to see various techniques in action, with practical help to enhance images at both capture and processing stages. A series of seminars at locations across the country will take place throughout May and June, with tickets available from £40 ex. VAT for a half-day or £65 ex. Each ‘Digital Photography in a Day’ seminar is split into two parts covering a series of topics, with the option to attend either or both sessions depending on individual preferences and requirements. Key areas covered include:

• Getting the right exposure
• Monitor calibration
• Working with JPEG, TIFF and RAW file
• Lighting tips using natural and flash illumination
• Basic and advanced post-capture enhancement
• Colour management – including how to use profiles
• How to achieve high quality print output
