FSC Accredited Photo Realistic inkjet paper

Tullis Russell Papermakers in conjunction with its partner Folex have expanded their range of photo realistic desktop inkjet paper, Fotojet Instant Dry, with the launch of a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accredited version making it the first ink jet glossy photo paper to hold the FSC certificate.

The Forest Stewardship Council is a non-governmental organisation supported by Friends of the Earth and the World Wildlife Fund. The organisation issues chain of custody (COC) certificates to companies who, through independent third party audit, can prove they are using forestry resources in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner. Using the COC numbering system, FSC certified material can be tracked through out the entire production and distribution process.

The new version of Fotojet Instant Dry has a brighter and whiter glossy shade enhancing the quality of the photographic image. Fotojet Instant Dry is part of the Folex inkjet desktop range and is available in a wide range of weights and sheets sizes designed to suit the domestic and SOHO sector.

Unlike many other photo realistic grades, Fotojet does not use plastic film in its construction making the product 100% recyclable. In addition to the FSC accreditation the new version of Fotojet is made by an ISO 14001 accredited paper mill with elemental chlorine free (ECF) wood pulps. Combining all these factors the new Fotojet Instant Dry is able to offer the environmentally aware consumer a photo realistic inkjet paper with exceptional environmental credentials.
