Specification Guideline for Digital Cameras
CIPA (Camera & Imaging Products Association) announced today that the draft of the Specification Guideline for Digital Cameras is available. The consultation period is 4th June 2007 to 3rd August 2007.
This new Guideline will establish specification guidelines for digital still cameras for consumer use including new specification items in addition to the existing provisions. The basic concepts are to encourage fair competition, common notation and definition of terms.
