If you are wondering about camera equipment insurance, there are a couple of brokers at the show, including Towergate, who had a fascinating collection of written-off kit to ogle at.

Kata, who sponsored a competition with DPNow last month, were at the show in force with a roomy stand showing off their impressive range of bags and case. Also on the stand you will find Gitzo tripods and some accessories for DSLR sensor cleaning. Wildlife photographer, Andy Rouse, is also featured on the stand until today (Monday) only.

Possibly the weirdest product at the show is the Monster Pod. This is a tripod alternative that uses an orange-coloured putty-like substance and matching tripod mount to securely attach your camera to almost any surface. The putty is not sticky to the touch, but seems very effective at making a secure connection with all manner of unlikely and uneven surfaces. Yours for £29.95.

Over at the Fujifilm stand you can touch and feel most of the current range and there are several FinePix S5 Pro DSLRs on the stand for hands-on appraisal.

If you feel the need for a therapeutic stroll over huge photographic prints, Focus on Imaging is you show!
