Alas, Nikon is one of the last mainstream traditional camera marques to continue exhibiting at Focus on Imaging, along with Fujifilm. However, Sigma and Tamron continue to be represented on the lens-front and HP is at this year's show demonstrating both printers, including the new wide format Z-Series, and consumer cameras.
If you can, stop by the Disabled Photographers Society stand. As well as fund raising, they had a good selection of members' pictures on display.
Epson pulled in the crowds with their regular demonstrations of their latest printers, including the new Stylus Photo 1400.
Hasselblad was another stand where you could find live modelling tutorial sessions throughout the day.
There are two Ilford booths at Focus on Imaging; the Harman Technology Ilford Photo booth, which focuses on film and traditional darkroom papers, plus Ilford Imaging Switzerland, who produced Ilford ink-jet papers for professionals and consumers. Harman, incidentally, are now offering their own ink-jet papers, though these are not Ilford-branded.
