The densities are 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB & 2GB and will work with single board computers or computer systems with a CompactFlash socket. “WinSystems is committed to reducing lead content in an environmentally-friendly, technologically feasible and cost-effective manner without sacrificing performance, quality, or reliability”, said Robert Burckle, Vice-President of WinSystems. “CompactFlash cards are a part of WinSystems ongoing program to meet the RoHS Directive.”
WinSystems’ CompactFlash parts are targeted for applications that need industrial-grade reliability, industry-standard compatibility, and IDE hard disk drive emulation for program and data storage. Since they are True IDE Mode and ATA-3 compliant, they are compatible with different operating systems such as Linux, Windows® CE and Windows® XP Embedded, ROM-DOS and others without requiring a special driver.
