Large 2.5-Inch LCD
The DiMAGE X60’s 2.5-inch LCD is large enough for you—or even a group of people—to enjoy a clear view when previewing or playing back shots. The anti-reflective LCD ensures that images can be viewed clearly, even under the bright lights or outdoors. And with menus that display large letters on the screen, it provides even greater ease of operation.
Easy and Convenient Operation
With no complicated settings and enough controls to make operation intuitive, the DiMAGE X60 is easy to use. It has an independent playback button that brings up images instantly. Also, Key Customization allows you to register settings for your most-frequently-used functions by designating them to the left or right side of the controller, making operation even more simple and user-friendly.
15MB Internal Memory
This is a first within the DiMAGE X series, the DiMAGE X60 is equipped with 15MB of internal memory, so you can shoot photos without an SD Memory Card or MultiMedia Card, or continue shooting even after your memory card is full.
Extraordinary Image Quality
The DiMAGE X60’s 5 Megapixel CCD and CxProcess III image-processing technology combine to deliver sharp, high-resolution images. You get photo-quality prints as large as 17x13 cm at 300 dpi, as well as enlargements up to 35x26 cm at 150 dpi for truly memorable shots.
CxProcess III helps reproduce shadows and highlights with outstanding accuracy, so images look natural and true-to-life.
Also its noise reduction automatically prevents the blemishes and graininess associated with slow-shutter shots (up to 4 seconds). This gives crisp, clear night scene images with minimal noise.
The Best Shooting Modes
Automatic Digital Subject Program Selection automatically chooses the optimum shooting mode for your subject. Or, you can choose from Portrait, Sports action, Landscape, Sunset, Super Macro*, Night portrait/Night view*, and text* modes. Either way, this advanced function enables you to take fabulous photos with ease.

Precise Autofocus
The wide 5-Point AF makes it easy to focus on your subject. Also, manual selection of Spot focus mode gives you more accuracy with the ability to focus on a specific point of the frame.
Multi-Segment Metering/Spot Metering
Multi-Segment Metering automatically measures light readings over the entire frame to give you the best exposure for your subject. And Spot Metering measures light in the centre of the frame, allowing you to measure the brightness of a particular spot on your subject.
Take Extreme Close-ups
The DiMAGE X60 allows wide-angle close-ups that are clearly focused as near as 10 cm from the subject, without the need to switch to macro mode. If you need to get even closer, a Super Macro mode takes extreme close-ups as near as 5 cm from the subject.
Direct Camera-to-Printer Printouts
Forget all about complicated connections with a PC. Get fast, fun print outs directly from your camera by connecting the DiMAGE X60 to a PictBridge* compliant printer. Simply check which images you want on the DiMAGE X60’s LCD monitor and you’ve got fast and fun printouts instantly.
