Delkin’s PicturePAD now includes new Adobe Photoshop Album

Poway CA, June 23, 2003 Delkin Devices Inc., maker of premium quality eFilm memory cards and other innovative products for camera stores worldwide, announced today that their eFilm PicturePAD is now shipping with a full version of Adobe’s new Photoshop Album 1.0 (a $50.00 value). Delkin's partnership with Adobe began in June of 2002, with the introduction of Delkin's PicturePAD. The PicturePAD featured a full version of Adobe’s Photoshop Elements included with every unit. The switch to Photoshop Album keeps Delkin’s commitment to provide digital photographers added value with the latest software complimenting the PicturePAD.

Adobe Photoshop Album is a new fast and easy way to organize and share photos. The program allows you to see all of your photos in one place and instantly sort them by date or keyword. You can categorize photos by people, places, events, or any other subject using keywords. Once you have imported photos with one click from your digital camera, you can quickly correct common photo problems with the Single Click Fix button, eliminate red eye, or crop out unwanted areas of your photos. You can easily create and share your photos, slide shows, albums, cards, calendars, and more. Photoshop Album works with Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, or Windows XP.

Photoshop Album is an especially useful compliment to the features of the eFilm PicturePAD. The PicturePAD is a portable digital storage device for photos, designed for the traveling digital photographer. It features a built-in color LCD screen for viewing photos, a high capacity hard drive for storing the files, and a Windows like menu system to organize them. Photographers can instantly access a number of features for viewing, showing, storing, and organizing digital images, by simply inserting a memory card. Roughly the size and weight of a palm size PDA, the PicturePAD comes with its own carrying case and is easily portable. The unit works independently of a PC while allowing the flexibility of connecting to a computer via a USB or FireWire port, or a TV with the convenience of a remote. The PicturePAD currently is available in capacities of 20GB, 30GB, 40GB, and 60GB and is sold at independent camera stores worldwide and at Delkin’s website (www.delkin.com).

Delkin Devices, Inc. is headquartered in San Diego, California, where the company has been operating since 1986. Since that time Delkin’s line of eFilm digital storage products and accessories has become a digital imaging leader in removable flash memory for both consumer and OEM markets. Delkin products are primarily available worldwide through a network of independent camera stores.

Delkin’s digital storage product line for photography grew out of their initial success in manufacturing office automation products for OEM’s. The company continues to be one of the leading US manufacturers for memory upgrades in copiers, faxes, printers, networking equipment, Internet related memory for communications equipment and dual inline memory modules. Delkin’s website attracts visitors from over 100 different countries, underscoring the company’s international success.
